The North London side have failed to make it to the Champions League for the past three years, and if Aubameyang has his heart set on featuring in the competition again, he may have to leave at the end of his deal.
The 30-year-old striker has a year left to run on his current contract but is yet to commit to an extension.
He might wait until the end of the season to decide whether he commits his future to the Emirates or look for success elsewhere.
He was heavily linked with a transfer move to Manchester United previously.
However, Arsenal captain Granit Xhaka has so far refused the club’s request to issue an apology to supporters after telling fans to ‘F*** off’ during the draw against Crystal Palace.
Xhaka was slammed for his behaviour, though he still has support within the Arsenal team who were ‘appalled’ by how he was treated by supporters at the Emirates.
