Barcelona still have one friendly left before kicking off their La Liga schedule against Real Mallorca on August 16.
However, Rashford’s eligibility remains uncertain if the club fails to register him in time for league play.
Financial challenges have plagued Barcelona for several years, even delaying Dani Olmo’s registration upon his 2024 return until a loophole was used.
Joan Laporta resumed the presidency with the club in heavy debt, following his first tenure from 2003 to 2010.

Since it’s beyond his control, the England international says he’s channeling his energy into training and preparing for the season’s opener.
“It’s something for the club to sort out,” he told reporters.
“I believe they are going to get it sorted. I just focus on training and be ready for the start of the season.”
Like Rashford, Laporta believes Barca will be able to register the forward as well as Joan García, Roony Bardghji not to mention Szczesny and Gerard Martín.
“It’s progressing well,” he revealed. “We’re doing our job and we’re confident that we’ll be able to register everyone.”
