This campaign highlights Real Madrid’s charitable foundation, which supports sports and social initiatives for disadvantaged communities.
However, the omission gained attention after teammate Jude Bellingham posted an unedited version of the photo on Instagram, where Mbappe appeared.
Bellingham quickly deleted the post, but fans had already spotted the alteration.
According to reports from Sports Zone, Mbappe’s exclusion was due to a conflict between sponsorships.
As a Nike ambassador, Mbappe was left out of the campaign linked to adidas, Real Madrid’s official sponsor.
Interestingly, Eduardo Camavinga, another Nike-sponsored player, was still included in the campaign, sparking more speculation.
Mbappe is expected to return for Real Madrid’s match against Celta Vigo this Saturday, despite a recent injury scare that kept him out of France’s national team.
If he isn’t fit for that match, he might return for the midweek Champions League fixture against Borussia Dortmund.
