According to a recent report, Joselu, the Real Madrid star, is set to reject a transfer to Manchester United this summer despite the club’s initial interest in the striker.
Despite previous struggles in the Premier League with Stoke and Newcastle, where he scored 10 goals over three seasons, Joselu seems poised to stay put.

However, upon his return to Spain in 2019 with Alaves, Joselu excelled, scoring 10 goals in three consecutive seasons before securing a move to Espanyol.
Following his impressive 16 La Liga goals last season, he joined Real Madrid on loan as a replacement for Karim Benzema, who departed for the Saudi Pro League.
Despite not being a guaranteed starter under Carlo Ancelotti, especially in recent matches, Joselu has still managed to score 14 goals in all competitions for Los Blancos.
Reports earlier this week suggested that Manchester United had shown interest in the striker, with Erik ten Hag’s side making an inquiry as they search for a dependable backup to Rasmus Hojlund.
However, according to fellow Spanish outlet Fichajes, Joselu is expected to decline any offers from Old Trafford as he desires to conclude his career with Real Madrid.
It is noted that although he is on loan at the Bernabeu, Real have a €1.5 million option to buy him from Espanyol, which they are likely to exercise this summer.
This decision comes despite the anticipated arrival of Kylian Mbappe, whose PSG contract ends this season.
Shortly after joining Real last year, Joselu showcased his skills with a remarkable bicycle kick against United in a pre-season friendly, offering the Manchester club a firsthand look at his abilities.
