Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has grown increasingly frustrated following Kylian Mbappe’s arrival at the Bernabeu, catching the attention of Premier League clubs.
Mbappe joined Real Madrid over the summer on a free transfer from PSG, but his transition hasn’t been entirely smooth.

In the Champions League, Madrid’s performance has been less impressive, with the team currently 18th in the table.
Mbappe’s contribution has been less impactful than anticipated, with only one goal in the competition so far.
Mbappe’s presence has particularly affected Rodrygo, who now finds himself frequently benched to make room for the French star.
According to a report by Alejandro Alcazar in SPORT, Rodrygo feels that Mbappe’s arrival has derailed his progress after four seasons of working toward a regular starting position.
Last season, Rodrygo was pivotal for Carlo Ancelotti, starting 12 Champions League matches and contributing five goals and two assists.
This season, however, his role has diminished; he was only substituted in during the 74th minute against AC Milan, with Madrid trailing.
With Rodrygo’s current dissatisfaction, there seems to be an ideal opening for another club to make a move, and one Premier League team has reportedly shown interest.
Fichajes reports that Manchester City is prepared to offer €150 million for the Brazilian, while Liverpool has also been linked to him in past transfer windows.
City sees Rodrygo as a player who could both fit into their current system and bring a fresh dynamic to their squad.
However, despite the hefty fee, Real Madrid is expected to be tough in negotiations and may prioritize keeping Rodrygo.
