Roman Abramovich has handed Chelsea the funds to sign Erling Haaland this summer for £150m, according to reports.
Haaland, who scored 41 goals in 41 games last campaign for Dortmund, would follow Jadon Sancho out of the exit door should he leave this summer, with the winger set to join Manchester United for £73m.
According to Bild, Abramovich has released the money for the blues to sign Haaland this summer but will need to sell some players in order to get the deal done.
The report claims Hudson-Odoi, Tammy Abraham and Hakim Ziyech are just some of the players that may leave should the London side steal a march in the race for Haaland.
Hudson-Odoi, who nearly left Chelsea to join Bayern in 2020, started only seven Premier League games after Thomas Tuchel took over after Frank Lampard’s sacking in January.
Abraham has barely played for the club since Tuchel’s arrival and has only featured twice for Chelsea since the middle of February.
The England striker was left out of the matchday squad for the FA Cup final against Leicester City, despite being the competition’s top scorer that campaign.

Ziyech was a regular part of Tuchel’s thinking during his debut season at Stamford Bridge, playing 39 games in all competitions for the Blues, scoring six goals.
Selling all three players for their transfer market value would raise around £90million, according to the German publication.
Olivier Giroud is another forward who is expected to leave this summer. He is believed to be on the verge of signing a two-year deal with AC Milan, and will finalise the deal next week.
Haaland would come in and improve the Chelsea attack after Timo Werner and Kai Havertz, who were both marquee signings last summer, endured difficult starts to life at the club.
But, Dortmund have maintained that Haaland will be a part of their team for the upcoming 2021-22 season.
The club’s Sporting director Michael Zorc told BILD: ‘Nothing has changed. We are firmly planning with Erling for the new season.’
