Cristiano Ronaldo reveals bizarre thing that ‘turns him on’ during Champions League draw

Cristiano Ronaldo shared an unusual detail about what “excites him” during last night’s Champions League draw.

The iconic striker attended the event in Monaco to assist in determining the new group stage format for the competition.

Ronaldo was also honored with a special award to recognize his status as the all-time leading goalscorer in the Champions League.

The former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus star scored 140 goals in the competition before moving to Saudi Arabia 18 months ago.

He beamed with pride as he received his gleaming trophy in front of a room filled with famous faces….

After accepting the award, Ronaldo was asked if he still wished to be playing in the Champions League.

When fellow draw assistant Gianluigi Buffon, who retired from football a year ago, enthusiastically said, “Yes, for sure,” Ronaldo also shared his thoughts.

But in doing so, he revealed that the Champions League music always left him “turned on.”

Ronaldo said: “The same. Always special, when you hear the music. “I said before, it turns you on. It’s fantastic.”

Ronaldo then added: “The record speaks for itself, but I mean the pleasure to play in the competition.

“It’s our motivation. When you listen, the music, you’re turning on. “It’s crazy and for me it was special because I win so many times.”

Ronaldo went on to help UEFA chiefs draw the group stage for this season’s competition.
