Cristiano Ronaldo has thanked the Manchester United supporters for helping the team throughout their win over Villarreal in the Champions League.
The Red devils found themselves 1-0 down against the La Liga club with half an hour to play, but a superb Alex Telles goal equalised for them, before the late winner from Cristiano Ronaldo.
After losing their first Champions League group stage game against Young Boys, the pressure was on them to return to winning ways against the Yellow Submarine.

But after the turnaround, Ronaldo believes United can progress from Group F and has thanked the fans for the role they played in the win.
‘Now everything is possible everything is open and we believe we will go through,’ he told BT Sport.
‘This is why I came back, I missed this club a lot. I made history in this club, and I want to do it again.
‘I have to say thanks you to all of them [the fans], not just for me, but to push the team which will be very important especially this season.’
United had lost three of their previous four games in all competitions before the win, with Solksjaer’s job reportedly under huge threat if results don’t improve.
United will be hoping to continue the momentum given to them by Ronaldo’s late winner when they face Everton in the Premier League on Saturday.
