The French center-back is expected to feature again, with Mikel Arteta looking to guide Arsenal smoothly into the next round, where they could face either Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid.
Reports suggest that Real Madrid have shown interest in Saliba as they explore options to refresh their aging defense.
However, the 23-year-old has firmly stated that he has no intention of leaving Arsenal. He is currently engaged in talks to extend his contract, which is set to run until the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.
He said: “For me, I’m really happy here. I’ve been here for two years and a half as well. There is nothing. I’m happy here and I want to continue here.
“Not yet, because there is some years [left], so there is no rush at the minute. I’m happy here, that’s it.
“Of course I want to win big things with Arsenal. If you love this club, and it didn’t mean anything, of course I want to win big things here.”
Saliba now has the opportunity to face Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals, provided both his team and the Spanish giants navigate past PSV and Atletico Madrid respectively.
