Jadon Sancho makes final decision on Man Utd return

Jadon Sancho, currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund, is said to have reached a conclusive decision regarding his tenure at Manchester United.

In September, a dispute with United’s manager Erik ten Hag cast a shadow over Sancho’s prospects at the club.

Sancho responded sharply to Ten Hag’s public critique of his training session efforts.

This led to Sancho being sidelined at United, culminating in a loan move back to Dortmund in January.

Since his return, Sancho has been in fine form, contributing significantly to Dortmund’s 1-0 victory against Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League semi-final.

Reports now suggest that the England international has resolved his future plans.

As reported by Sky Sports Germany journalist Patrick Berger, who posted on social media: “Jadon Sancho(24)does not want to return to Manchester United – regardless of whether Erik ten Hag remains in charge or not, sources telling. #MUFC preparing for his departure. But no price tag set yet by @ManUtd.

“Jadon is happy to be with #BVB and wants to stay. Borussia Dortmund exploring the possibility of a second loan deal – with obligation to buy, as the transfer fee for a permanent deal is probably gonna be too high. Talks between clubs soon.”

When Sancho was asked by CBS Sports about his future, he said: “I really don’t know. I’m focused on the present right now.”

Speaking about Sancho’s recent superb performances, Ten Hag said: “He played very well and he’s a very good player.

“Yesterday he showed why Manchester United bought him and he showed he represents a high value for Manchester United, which is good. I’m happy for Jadon, for the performance yesterday and we’ll see what is going to happen in the future.”
