Paul Scholes has pointed out Chelsea’s two main vulnerabilities ahead of their Premier League match against Brighton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The Blues head into the game with high confidence, having won their last three matches across all competitions without conceding a single goal.

Enzo Maresca’s team also cruised past Barrow AFC with a 5-0 win in the Carabao Cup, advancing to the fourth round.
However, Scholes has highlighted two areas of concern for Chelsea, advising they should reassess their goalkeeper and centre-forward positions.
‘We were saying Maresca is going to be the first one gone,’ Scholes told The Overlap.
‘These results have almost calmed things down. You look at the squad there is a lot of talent.
‘[But] I’m a little bit worried about the centre-forward to be honest. [And] I’m worried about the keeper a little bit.’
Robert Sanchez has been Chelsea’s first-choice goalkeeper this season, contributing to two consecutive Premier League clean sheets before being rested for the match against Barrow.
In terms of the centre-forward role, Chelsea faces a bit of a selection challenge thanks to the impressive form of both Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku.
Maresca described it as a “good problem” to have two in-form strikers, especially after Nkunku’s hat-trick against Barrow, but he expressed uncertainty about fielding both him and Jackson together.
‘They’re both doing fantastic,’ the Chelsea head coach said. ‘Not only because they score, but because they work off the ball. The way they sacrifice for the team. This is very important for them.’
Pressed whether it might be possible for them to soon start together, he said: ‘It could be. But the problem is the defensive balance. We can think to place with Nicolas, Christo, Joao [Felix], Cole Palmer, Noni [Madueke], fantastic! But then who is defending? Me and you?’
