Benjamin Sesko makes final decision on Arsenal & Chelsea transfer

Benjamin Sesko has turned down offers from top Premier League clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United, choosing to stay with RB Leipzig beyond the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old striker has decided to sign a new contract with the Bundesliga club, foregoing a £55 million release clause that expired recently.

Leipzig, aware of their need to secure Sesko’s services, have proposed a new deal that includes a gentleman’s agreement regarding his future.

Despite Arsenal being his preferred destination if he were to leave, Sesko has committed to Leipzig, a team that finished fourth in the Bundesliga last season.

Sesko believes that remaining at Leipzig will be beneficial for his development, as he will continue to be a key player in the team.

Meanwhile, Arsenal is looking forward to Kai Havertz’s performance as a false nine and hopes for Gabriel Jesus’ return to form.

Chelsea has promising talents like Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson, while Manchester United is seeking experienced strikers to complement Rasmus Hojlund.

Premier League clubs may consider Napoli’s Victor Osimhen as an alternative, but his transfer fee is expected to be around £100m.

Other potential signings include Ivan Toney, Dominik Solanke, and Alexander Isak, although their current clubs may not be willing to sell easily.

Newcastle seems content with Isak’s performance last season, and Brentford is unlikely to sell Toney for less than £60m. The transfer market remains dynamic as clubs strategize their summer moves.
