With 10 games left in the 2024/25 season, Arne Slot’s team currently holds a 13-point lead over second-place Arsenal.
Most of Liverpool’s squad have already met the requirement of five appearances to qualify for a Premier League winner’s medal, but a few players, including Federico Chiesa, are at risk of missing out.
Chiesa, who joined from Juventus in the summer for a reported £12.5 million, has only played three league games this season [against Bournemouth, Brentford, and Ipswich], leaving him two appearances short of qualifying.
Other players likely to miss out include reserve goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros, who has made only one appearance – debuting in a 1-0 win against Crystal Palace in October.
Tyler Morton, Trey Nyoni, and James McConnell have yet to feature in the league despite their performances in cup competitions, while Jayden Danns, currently on loan at Sunderland, will also be unable to qualify for a medal.
Danns is four appearances short of earning silverware, but ultimately, the 19-year-old forward might still receive a medal.
According to the Premier League website, the champions receive 40 commemorative silver medals, each 2.25 inches (5.7 cm) in diameter.
The club can distribute these medals to the manager, players, and officials as they see fit, provided every player who has made at least five Premier League appearances during the title-winning season receives one.
Additional medals may only be awarded with the consent of the Premier League Board, and this will only be granted if more than 39 players have made at least five league appearances during the season.
Liverpool’s next league game is against Southampton on March 8.
