Rashford remained on the pitch for the rest of the game, contributing as Barça cruised to a 7-3 victory over the hosts.
Statman Dave reported that Rashford completed 88% of his passes, successfully beat his marker three times, and managed to hit the target with both of his efforts on goal.
In addition, he recovered possession once, created a scoring opportunity, and added an assist by setting up Ferran Torres for a late goal in the 88th minute.

Supporters were impressed by his impact, but how did the Spanish press react? Soon after the match ended, Catalan outlet Mundo Deportivo published an article praising Rashford’s contribution on the wing.
They wrote: “Marcus Rashford once again made a good impression in his second game as a Barca player. The forward linked up well with his teammates and created threats down the left flank. Flick has opted to play the Briton as a left winger in both matches, a position where he can exploit his dribbling and outside shooting prowess.”
They also said Rashford was a ‘constant threat’.
While Football Espana gave Rashford a rating of 7/10, writing: “Bright performance again from Rashford, who assisted Torres and is getting into the right places. Overdid one attack, where Torres would have had a hat-trick had Rashford released at the right time, but generally bright.”
Rashford has had a good start to his career at Barcelona and he will be looking to score his first goal for the club and their next game against Daegu FC on Monday August 4.
