Man Utd reach agreement to sign left-back from Real Madrid
Manchester United are reportedly close to the signing of Alvaro Fernandez Carreras from Real Madrid after agreeing terms with the 17-year-old left-back, according to reports.
The player's contract with Real Madrid expired just last month and the teenager has been weighing up his options. Though Real wanted to keep him, but Spanish outlet AS report United have won the race to sign the youngster.

Alvaro Fernandez will then travel to Manchester United to link up with the youth squad, but has been assured he will get the chance to train with the senior team.
United already boast the likes of Brandon Williams and Luke Shaw at left-back, but Alvaro Fernandez will be welcomed into the senior team if injury hits either player.
