Three Arsenal players make their feelings clear after club completes deal for Viktor Gyokeres

The team has already departed for their pre-season tour in Asia without Gyokeres, as negotiations continued to stall, though the club remained hopeful of wrapping up the deal in time for him to link up with the squad.

Now, multiple sources claim that a breakthrough has been reached, and Gyokeres is expected to officially become an Arsenal player within the week.

Cristhian Mosquera is reportedly heading to Singapore to join Arsenal’s pre-season tour, where he’s expected to finalize his transfer to the club.

Arsenal have now reportedly agreed to a deal worth £54.8 million for Gyokeres, with an additional £8.6 million in potential bonuses, bringing the total package to just over £63 million.

With several media outlets confirming the breakthrough, supporters have begun celebrating the news after weeks of uncertainty and stalled negotiations.

Excitement has also spread within the squad currently in Singapore, as sharp-eyed fans noticed three players interacting with a social media post that appeared to announce Gyokeres’ signing.

A screenshot revealed that Declan Rice, recent arrival Noni Madueke, and academy talent Max Dowman had all ‘liked’ the post ahead of any official statement from the club.

Arsenal are set to face AC Milan on Wednesday at the Singapore National Stadium, though it’s unlikely Gyokeres will be ready to feature in that match.

They’ll then take on Newcastle at the same venue on Sunday, followed by a heated North London derby against Tottenham in Hong Kong next week, where they hope their new additions will be available to play.
