Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has hailed the ‘incredible’ job Thomas Tuchel has done at Chelsea so far.
He has told United that he does not think it would be possible for him to replicate Tuchel’s achievement with Chelsea at Old Trafford.
Tuchel arrived at the club in January, replacing Frank Lampard who was sacked after a run of just two wins in eight games to leave the Blues in ninth place in the Premier League table.

The German coach turned Chelsea’s fortunes around to help them finish in fourth place, before also guiding them to their second Champions League title, beating the likes of Altetico Madrid, Real Madrid and Man City in the process.
The London side have made a fine start to this season as well, having lost just two of their opening 15 league matches to find themselves in third place in table, while also already qualifying for the next stage of the Champions League with a group game against Zenit St Petersburg in hand.
And Rangnick, who recently revealed that he rejected the opportunity to manage Chelsea for the rest of last campaign, has praised the job his fellow German boss Tuchel has done at the west London team so far.
‘To do what Thomas [Tuchel] did in four months at Chelsea was incredible,’ he said.
‘If anyone had told Marina [Granovskaia] or Roman [Abramovich] what would happen or they had looked into a crystal ball to see what would happen in the next four months…incredible.
‘To win the Champions League, finish fourth in the league, and now be towards the top of the league with almost the same players, is a big achievement. I am not sure I can say that things will develop in the same way for me at Manchester United.’
