Thomas Tuchel singled out Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner as two players that troubled Manchester City’s defence during Chelsea win over Guardiola’s side at Wembley on Saturday.
Chelsea booked their place in the FA Cup final on Saturday, beating Man City 1-0 in the process and Tuchel praised Werner and Ziyech for the victory.
The Blues were the more dangerous team at Wembley as they exploited the space behind their opponents’ defence time after time.
The London side scored through a quick counter attack in the second half when Mason Mount’s sublime through ball found Werner, who cut the ball across the box for Hakim Ziyech to score into an empty net.
Tuchel brought back Ziyech and Werner into the starting lineup for Pulisic and Kai Havertz against City.
“The two guys [Ziyech and Werner] were very, very good upfront with the speed and acceleration – and the impact that Mason [had] with the pass,” the German told BBC.
“Timo and Hakim, it was the same lineup like against Liverpool where they were also very, very strong in an away game in a 1-0 victory.

“It was a very, very strong performance. Very happy and proud. We played an excellent 35 minutes in the first half. We had to suffer for 10 minutes.
“We then played another 30 minutes so strong and got the lead, could have got another. It was a very strong performance and I am very proud of my team. Very happy they performed to this level today.”
Leicester City and Southampton will play at Wembley today for the other semi final match and Chelsea now wait patiently for whoever makes it to the final.
