The tension between Vinicius and Madrid coach Alonso has escalated, with reports indicating the winger is determined to depart if the Spaniard remains at the helm next season.
The dispute became evident after Sunday’s 2-1 El Clasico win, when Vinicius reacted angrily to being taken off in the 72nd minute.
Cameras caught him storming off and shouting: “Always me! I’m leaving the team! I’m leaving!”

Although Los Blancos tried to minimize the situation, Spanish media suggest the relationship between player and manager is now beyond repair.
Vinicius feels “belittled and devalued” by Alonso’s management style and believes he is not being treated equally compared to Kylian Mbappe, the club’s marquee signing and Florentino Perez’s new favourite.
The 25-year-old has registered five goals and four assists in 10 La Liga games this season but has yet to score in the Champions League.
Despite his solid output, off-field tensions are overshadowing his performances, and the winger is openly weighing up a transfer next summer should Alonso stay.
To try to defuse the situation, Vinicius posted an apology on social media directed at his teammates, supporters, and the club president — though notably leaving out Alonso.
The winger wrote: “Today I want to apologize to all the Madridistas for my reaction when I was substituted in the Clasico.
“Just as I have already done in person during today’s training, I also want to apologize again to my teammates, the club, and the president. Sometimes passion gets the better of me because I always want to win and help my team.
“My competitive character stems from the love I feel for this club and everything it represents. I promise to keep fighting every second for the good of Real Madrid, as I have done since the first day.”
His omission of Alonso’s name only added fuel to speculation about a broken relationship. Sources close to the dressing room claim several veteran players are also becoming irritated with the coach’s rigid approach, with one insider saying Alonso “thinks he’s Pep Guardiola.”
Reports from Sport indicate that PSG have emerged as favourites to sign Vinicius if he leaves Madrid. The forward is reportedly drawn to the chance to play under Luis Enrique, whom he admires for his charisma and offensive philosophy.
Vinicius is said to believe that Enrique’s quick, high-pressing style aligns perfectly with his abilities, taking confidence from the successful experiences of Neymar and Lionel Messi under the Spanish manager.
Though Premier League and Saudi clubs have shown interest, Les Parisiens remain his top choice because of their Champions League ambitions and tactical setup.
His current deal with Los Blancos runs until June 2027, but the ongoing standoff over wages has strengthened his position.
Unless Madrid improve their offer next summer, the club could be compelled to sell rather than risk losing him for nothing later — a situation that has reportedly alarmed Florentino Perez.
