This exchange is believed to have occurred just days ago, causing considerable unrest behind the scenes at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Central to the conflict is Vinicius’ dissatisfaction with Alonso’s methods.
He is said to be disheartened by what he sees as a lack of confidence and appreciation from the manager.

Alonso’s structured tactics and performance-based selections have led to Vinicius being regularly benched or taken off, a pattern that reportedly frustrates the player, who views himself as the team’s leading figure and symbol of the project.
Perez now finds himself in a challenging position. He is eager to secure Vinicius with a long-term contract and considers him essential to the club’s future.
However, Alonso’s influence within the squad has grown, and Perez is hesitant to compromise his coach’s authority for the sake of one individual, regardless of talent.
This impasse has become one of the most delicate matters within the club.
Vinicius’ current deal runs until 2027, but if no resolution is reached soon, he could begin exploring options with other teams and potentially leave without a transfer fee.
Whether this “ultimatum” will sway Perez’s stance remains uncertain, but the relationship between Real Madrid’s star forward and the manager appears significantly strained.
Looking back, the 1991–92 and 1992–93 campaigns were peculiar for Real Madrid, particularly in how they lost the title both years under eerily similar circumstances.
Los Blancos entered the final matchday leading the standings and faced Tenerife away in both seasons. On each occasion, they suffered defeat and handed the championship to Barcelona.
To lose the league in back-to-back years to the same opponent at the same venue is highly unusual, and many have pointed to controversial officiating on both nights.
Reflecting on those events, former player Ivan Zamorano shared his thoughts on the setbacks.
“We lost the League in Tenerife. They robbed us. Two very clear penalties and I was expelled for jumping more than the Tenerife defender. There were very strange, very strange things.”
He also described how the oddities extended beyond the match itself, affecting the team’s travel and preparation.
“In that match, there were very strange things. Our president made us travel on two different planes. Our plane was depressurised. The plane lost air, we were drowning, we had to put on the masks.”
“We had to go back to the airport and wait three or four hours to go back to Tenerife. It already started badly there. Then what happened happened,” he added.
Zamorano also took a moment to comment on Kylian Mbappe’s early impact at Real Madrid, offering high praise.
“Mbappe is the best in the world. What he does is not done by anyone. Last year they said he was adapting and he scored 40 goals. He has something important, he is a winner and he looks a lot like Cristiano.”
“He looks a lot alike; he doesn’t settle for 40 goals. He knows he is different. It is the emblem of Madrid,” he added.
Turning to Vinicius, Zamorano’s remarks were more reflective, focusing on the player’s behavior and emotional challenges.
“I love Vinicius. I don’t like some of his attitudes, but they are a reflection of the love he has for the club. Many times we want him to act differently, but maybe in that immaturity there is the suffering of a boy who is criticised for being in some states because of the colour of his skin.”
“But I am convinced that one day he will mature. It has affected him a lot to go from all the lights to the maximum reference being Mbappe.
“It’s not easy to be Vinicius. But I would like him to change some attitudes and realise that Madrid is different from everything,” he added.
