REVEALED: When Kylian Mbappe will make his Real Madrid debut

Carlo Ancelotti discloses when new recruit Kylian Mbappe might make his Real Madrid debut and provides an update on Jude Bellingham.

Following his official move to Real Madrid last month, Mbappe is currently on an extended vacation and was not included in the squad traveling to the United States for their pre-season tour.

The France captain has not played since the Euros semi-final against Spain, but manager Carlo Ancelotti suggested that Mbappe could debut in the club’s first competitive match of the 2024/25 season against Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup.

In a press conference in the US, the Italian manager stated, “Mbappe can obviously play in the Super Cup from the start. Jude Bellingham too and others. They are prepared, they have followed a plan and will all play.”

Similar to Mbappe, Bellingham did not travel to America for the pre-season after leading England to the Euro 2024 final.

However, the player has been adhering to a strict training regime during his holiday, as confirmed by the Los Blancos boss, and may feature against the Serie A team on August 14.

The reigning Spanish champions, who lost their first two friendlies against AC Milan and Barcelona, will aim to conclude their tour with a victory over Chelsea in North Carolina on August 6.
