Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal has expressed his desire to play alongside a specific Premier League player during his career.

Although Yamal played with Ballon d’Or winner Rodri during the tournament, he revealed a different Premier League player he dreams of teaming up with in his career.
The winger, who has recorded five goals and ten assists for Barcelona this season, was asked by Radioestadio Noche (via City_Chief) which player he would most like to play with.
Yamal’s answer was “Kevin De Bruyne.”
The prospect of Yamal and De Bruyne, 33, playing together is intriguing, though the 16-year age difference makes it less likely.
While Yamal has been thriving in his Barca shirt this season, De Bruyne has struggled with injuries and hasn’t had the same impact at Manchester City as in previous years.
The Belgian international has tallied six assists and two goals in the league this season but appears set to leave the Premier League champions, with his contract expiring in June.
Potential destinations for the former Chelsea midfielder include the MLS and Saudi Pro League.
After City’s 4-1 win against West Ham on January 5, De Bruyne provided an update on his future while speaking to reporters.
“Rumours on my future?” said De Bruyne. “I don’t care. I’m just trying to get back to my level.”
“I feel every week I’m getting better,” he added. “I can play for 90 minutes now. It’s been an uncomfortable couple of months with the injury.”
