Cristiano Ronaldo departed Real Madrid’s Clasico match with Barcelona at half-time after picking up an ankle injury, but Zinedine Zidane expects him to be available for the Champions League final with Liverpool.
After Luis Suarez had put the Barca in front at Camp Nou just 10 minutes in, Ronaldo equalised just four minutes later.
However, he had to be attended to in the first half after taking a knock as the 33-year-old was first left clutching his lower leg after scoring for Real.
Ronaldo was quick to get to his feet after finding himself in the back of the net, but could not continue the game after half time.
He was given time to try and shake off the knock, but he required treatment before the interval.
Though Ronaldo eventually finished the first 45 minutes, but he was replaced by Marco Asensio for the second half.
Initial fears put his involvement in the Champions League final with Liverpool on May 26 in serious doubt.
Zidane has, however, moved to calm the concerns of fans, with the Real boss confident that his knock is only “minor”.
Zidane told Movistar Partidazo after a 2-2 draw at Camp Nou: “We will look tomorrow (Monday) and see what damage has been done.
“Right now it’s not good, but it’s going to be minor. He seemed to think it wasn’t much. It’s not a worry for the Champions League final.”

It remains to be seen how serious Ronaldo’s ankle injury is and how long it will take him to fully recover from it.
Zidane will hope that the knock is minor, with his Ronaldo having netted 43 goals in all competitions this season.
