Former Chelsea and Manchester United Midfielder Ray Wilkins dies aged 61
It has been announced that Former England midfielder Ray Wilkins has died at the age of 61.
The former England captain was admitted to the hospital after experiencing a cardiac arrest.
A statement from the PFA said: ‘it is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we have learnt that former England midfielder Ray Wilkins has passed away at the age of 61.

‘The thoughts and condolences of everyone at the PFA are with his family and friends.’
Wilkins was taken to hospital at the end of last week with his wife Jackie who said he had a cardiac arrest which led to his fall.
He died in hospital.
He will be remembered for his time at Chelsea where he began his senior career in 1973 until 1979.
