Jose Mourinho is unhappy at Roma and wants to return to the Premier League – with a third spell as Chelsea head coach his main priority, according to reports.
Mourinho, who is currently in charge of Serie A club Roma, is one of the most successful managers in world football.
He has won major titles in England, Spain, Italy and Portugal and has already had two spells as Chelsea manager from 2004 to 2007 and from 2013 to 2015.
During his first stint at Stamford Bridge, Mourinho dubbed himself ‘The Special One’ and won back-to-back Premier League titles as well as FA Cup & two League Cups.
In his second spell at the West London club, the Portuguese coach lifted another Premier League title as well as a third League Cup.
Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea after a poor start to the 2015-16 season and then had stints at both Manchester United and Tottenham before joining Roma in 2021.
According to the Daily Mail, Mourinho is now eyeing a return to the Premier League because he believes Roma are not financially backing him after he led them to glory in the Europa Conference League last campaign.

Mourinho’s representatives have let it be known that the 60-year-old would be interested in a return to Chelsea, and his personal life is still largely based in London – where his wife and children still live.
Both of Mourinho’s spells at Chelsea came when Roman Abramovich was still in charge of the club and it remains to be seen how new owner Todd Boehly would feel about the manager returning.
It has been reported that Boehly is keen to stick with Graham Potter, who replaced Thomas Tuchel in September, despite Chelsea’s struggles this season, with the club 10th in the Premier League and 10 points off the top four.
Mourinho has also managed Inter Milan, where he won a treble – as well as Porto, where he made a name for himself after guiding them to Champions League triumph. He had a three-year spell at Real Madrid too.
