French and Real Madrid icon Zinedine Zidane has highlighted the player he believes will “outshine everyone” in the world of football.

Following his retirement as a player, Zidane transitioned to management, leading Real Madrid through two successful stints and securing three UEFA Champions League titles, among other honors.
In October 2024, ahead of the release of a documentary centered on French and Madrid sensation Kylian Mbappe, Zidane expressed immense admiration for the 25-year-old star.
He said: “Mbappe is here now. He will make history at the club and I think he’ll surpass everyone.”
Mbappe made the move to Real Madrid this summer on a free transfer after departing French powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain.
Although his initial transition to life in Madrid proved challenging, Mbappe has managed to tally an impressive 21 goals and provide three assists in 31 appearances across all competitions for Los Blancos.
This past weekend, the 26-year-old shone brightly, netting a hat-trick in Madrid’s 3-0 victory over Real Valladolid.
Following the match, Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti praised Mbappe, noting that the French star has finally hit his stride.
He said: “Mbappe is bringing a lot to the team, he’s been getting into a rhythm for a couple of months and today, for the first time, he scored a hat-trick for us.
“Obviously that’s a plus for our team, he’s a player of great quality. Little by little we’ve got into a good rhythm, we’ve got into a good dynamic and that’s great to see.”
Ancelotti added: “As I have been saying, we are improving in the aspects that undermined us in previous games. And we must continue as we try to improve and correct some of the problems we still have.”
