After last week’s match, the Brazilian posted a message to his Instagram which read: “No excuses. Bad game. We must improve and fight at the Bernabéu.
“Magic things already happened at our home… and we can do it again.”
Although overturning a three-goal deficit seems improbable, if any team is capable of pulling it off, it’s the 15-time Champions League champions, Real Madrid.
During a press conference on Tuesday, Jude Bellingham highlighted that there’s a strong “expectation” for Real Madrid to stage a comeback.
“There wasn’t one aspect of our game in the first leg that was up to the standard we expect of ourselves,” said Bellingham.

Ahead of tonight’s match, the Spanish giants have received approval for a special request, as both UEFA and Real Madrid confirmed to SPORTbible that the club has been permitted to close the Santiago Bernabeu’s roof.
The retractable roof was installed as part of the stadium’s recent £1.5 billion renovation. Similar requests have been granted for previous Champions League matches.
