Chelsea intends to keep Andrey Santos on their roster for the upcoming season, as per recent reports.
The 20-year-old midfielder, who joined the club for approximately £18 million last year, had a brief loan spell at Nottingham Forest but struggled to establish himself, making only two appearances before his loan was terminated early.

Santos then moved to Strasbourg in January, where he quickly made an impact under manager Patrick Vieira and was named Ligue 1’s Young Player of the Month for March.
With the arrival of new manager Enzo Maresca, who took over from Mauricio Pochettino earlier this month, Santos is back at Chelsea.
Despite the competition in midfield, Chelsea’s leadership is keen on retaining Santos, considering him a perfect match for Maresca’s tactical approach.
Contrary to earlier speculations that Chelsea might loan out Santos for more playing time in Europe, The Athletic reports that the club is not interested in selling him this summer.
They have received offers for Santos but view him as integral to their squad depth, especially with Chelsea participating in the Europa Conference League next season.
The club will start in the play-off round with a two-legged tie in August.
