Cole Palmer netted a brace, and new arrival Joao Pedro added a third to seal a dominant performance for the Premier League side.
Following the final whistle, tensions erupted between players and staff from both camps, with Enrique and Pedro coming face-to-face during the melee.
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca also became involved as team officials from both sides scrambled to diffuse the escalating situation.
Speaking to the media after the match, Enrique addressed the flare-up between PSG and Chelsea that unfolded amid the trophy celebrations in East Rutherford.
“I have no problem expressing my feelings at the end of the game in a high level of pressure,” Enrique told reporters on Sunday. “It’s very stressful for all of us. It’s going to be impossible to avoid that.
“Everybody was involved. It was not what was best and this was just the end result of the pressure of the match.
“I have seen [Enzo] Maresca,” Enrique later added. “I saw he had pushed others and we had to separate all the players and I do not know where that pressure came from.
“But I think this is a situation we must all avoid, that goes without saying. My intention was clear, I want separate the players so the situation didn’t become worse.”
