Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly contemplating the future of forward Goncalo Ramos, mere weeks after finalizing his permanent transfer.
The Portuguese international initially joined the French club on loan from Benfica in the summer to alleviate Financial Fair Play concerns.

PSG was obligated to secure the striker permanently, a move accomplished in November for a fee of £69 million, despite interest from Manchester United.
Nevertheless, reports from France indicate that PSG might be considering parting ways with Ramos, with L’Equipe raising questions about Luis Enrique’s confidence in the striker.
Ramos, having scored four goals in 19 appearances at the Parc des Princes, has seen limited playing time in Ligue 1, making only one substitute appearance since the beginning of December.
This development could grab the attention of Erik ten Hag’s team, which, bolstered by new investment from Sir Jim Ratcliffe, seems once again interested in acquiring a striker. United had previously secured the signing of 20-year-old Rasmus Hojlund in the summer.
The Danish forward has experienced a variable start at Old Trafford, currently leading as the top goalscorer in this season’s Champions League with five goals, yet managing only two goals in 16 attempts in the Premier League. Notably, those two goals were scored in his last two matches.
In their pursuit of a transfer overhaul, the Red Devils are reportedly eyeing a centre-forward along with a No. 8, centre-back, and right-back. PSG may be open to a deal for Ramos as early as this month.
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has previously endorsed Ramos for the Premier League, suggesting in the summer that his compatriot has the potential to become one of the world’s best.
“I think Goncalo [Ramos] has all the conditions to play in the Premier League,” Fernandes told Portuguese channel Sport TV, as per Record.
“He plays with a lot of intensity, he presses very well and is really good inside the penalty area. He is strong. Obviously, he is still very young and will improve a lot.”
Fernandes added: “If he continues to work as he has worked so far, I believe he has the potential to become one of the best strikers in the world. He is already close to that level, but he still needs to go to a more competitive league and prove himself. He will go there, something I believe he has all the capabilities to do.”
