This month has seen Garnacho’s future at Old Trafford become uncertain, with growing concerns about United’s adherence to the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).
Despite a challenging second consecutive season for the Red Devils, Garnacho has continued to progress, making 30 appearances across all competitions.
He is the team’s top scorer this season with eight goals but has been relegated to a role as an impact substitute since Ruben Amorim replaced Erik ten Hag.
Garnacho’s frustration has reportedly grown as Amad surpassed him in the pecking order, despite Garnacho enjoying significant prominence under Ten Hag.
It is claimed that the United No. 17 has given his approval for a move to Serie A before the winter transfer deadline.
According to Calciomercato, Napoli has reached a preliminary agreement with Garnacho after the club’s sporting director, Giovanni Manna, met with his representatives in Barcelona this week.
Garnacho’s camp reportedly made it clear that he is enticed by the opportunity to work with Antonio Conte in Naples.
The report further states that the agreement includes a five-year contract worth approximately £2.5 million per year after tax, slightly less than the £2.6 million he currently earns at United.
