Arsenal legend Thierry Henry loved everything about Conor Gallagher’s display as Crystal Palace drew 1-1 with Brighton on Monday, describing the player’s performance as ‘outstanding.’
The Chelsea loanee has been impressive on loan with the Eagles so far this campaign, scoring twice in the Premier League and he was key for them again on Monday.
The 21-year-old won the penalty which saw Wilfried Zaha open the scoring, with Palace looking set to win the match before a late equaliser from Neal Maupay.

Despite the disappointment of dropping points for Palace, the midfielder caught the eye of Henry, who was full of praise for the youngster.
Asked what he liked about Gallagher’s display, Henry told Sky Sports: ‘Everything. The way he puts pressure, the way he makes his team play, he makes the box.
‘He has an eye for a goal at the minute, he’s way higher than when he used to play for West Brom on loan from Chelsea.
‘I think he’s a player that loves to be unleashed, so let him go, let him go and put pressure, let him go and play, let him go and tackle. ‘I thought he was outstanding.’
Palace manager Patrick Vieira has been impressed with Gallagher as well, and expects more goals from him this campaign.
‘He has got the ability to remain calm inside the box,’ said the Frenchman last month.
‘He is a really good finisher, has got a lot of energy and works really hard for the team. When he is in that kind of situation he will score goals for us.’
Gallagher is currently on loan at Palace for the rest of this campaign, with his Chelsea contract running until 2025.
