Ivan Toney is closely monitoring Arsenal after witnessing Mikel Arteta’s team secure a last-minute triumph against Luton Town on Tuesday.
The Gunners increased their Premier League lead to five points with a 3-2 victory at Kenilworth Road, with Declan Rice scoring in injury time.

Despite leading twice through Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus, Arsenal briefly trailed after Ross Barkley’s 57th-minute goal, equalized by Kai Havertz three minutes later.
Rice then secured the win in the 97th minute, extending Arsenal’s Premier League winning streak to four games.
Meanwhile, there are strong rumors linking Toney to Arsenal, suggesting the Gunners have approached the Brentford striker ahead of the January transfer window.
And Toney was keeping a close eye on Arsenal’s progress on Tuesday as he posted a photo of himself watching the match along with the caption: ‘@declanrice What a game’.
Toney is presently out of action for Brentford, serving an eight-month suspension for accepting 232 violations of the Football Association’s gambling rules.
Although scheduled to make a comeback in January, he has already drawn attention from Chelsea and Arsenal as the upcoming transfer window approaches.
Speaking last week, Brentford boss Thomas Frank said he hoped that Toney will remain with the club until the end of the campaign.
‘I don’t want to lose him. I hope, and think, he’ll be a Brentford player on February 1,’ Frank said.
‘Everyone saw what he did last year. It’s not like he broke a leg or did his ACL, so he’s fit and probably even more ambitious to get success. I’m convinced he will be absolutely on it.’
