After finalizing his season-long loan move to Borussia Dortmund, Jadon Sancho seems to have taken a subtle jab at Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.
The 23-year-old, who joined United in a £72 million deal in 2021, parted ways with the club following a public disagreement with Ten Hag.

Ten Hag’s criticism of Sancho’s training effort resulted in the 23-year-old being excluded from the matchday squad during the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal in September.
Following the Dutch coach’s post-match press conference, Sancho, in a now-deleted statement on X, asserted that he had been made a scapegoat.
Despite his refusal to apologize publicly or privately, the England international faced consequences, being banished from first-team training and denied access to first-team facilities at the club’s Carrington training complex.
Sancho struggled to find his footing at Old Trafford, managing to score only 12 goals in 82 games.
This stands in stark contrast to his impressive performance at Dortmund, where he emerged as one of the world’s top prospects, boasting 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 games and contributing to Dortmund’s DFB-Pokal victory in 2021.
Since confirming his return to Signal Iduna Park, Sancho has been visibly engaged on social media. Notably, he seemingly aimed a dig at Ten Hag on Friday morning by sharing a picture of himself during training.
Sancho captioned the photo: “Good to be back on the pitch.”
Dortmund is optimistic that Sancho can contribute to their quest for qualification in the upcoming Champions League season.
Edin Terzic’s team presently holds the fifth position in the Bundesliga, trailing RB Leipzig by six points in the race for the fourth spot.
Sancho told the club’s official website: “When I walked into the changing room today, it felt like coming home. I know the club inside out, I’ve always been very close to the fans here and I’ve never lost contact with the people in charge.
“I can’t wait to see my teammates again, get out on the pitch, play football with a smile on my face, get assists, score goals and help the club qualify for the Champions League.”
Sancho is vying for the opportunity to make his second debut as Dortmund resumes action against Darmstadt on Saturday evening.
Meanwhile, Manchester United is not anticipated to find a replacement for Sancho, who last played in August during a 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest.

Despite this, there have been rumors connecting them with a potential move for Bayern Munich striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who is deemed surplus to requirements at the Allianz Arena.
