Jadon Sancho confirms he will make Man Utd transfer

Borussia Dortmund player Jadon Sancho has ‘unofficially confirmed’ he will make the transfer to Manchester United this summer, according to reports.

The Red Devils are confident of sealing a deal for England winger Sancho who is set to cost around £100million.

United face competition from Premier League clubs Chelsea and Liverpool but the duo have cooled their interest to leave them with a clear run at the 20-year-old.

And, according to the Irish Independent, Sancho has reportedly confirmed a return to Manchester. While City have first option on Sancho, he has no intention of going back to the club which already has Raheem Sterling, Riyad Mahrez and Leroy Sane as wide options.

But Manchester City will receive a 15 per cent sell-on fee of any move the player makes.

Sancho would likely inherit the No.7 jersey at the Theatre of Dreams, and there is a belief within the club that he will make the move regardless of whether they return to the Champions League next season.

In 90 games so far, Sancho has scored 31 goals and provided another 42 assists for his teammates.

He became the fastest player in the history of Bundesliga to reach 25 goals, becoming the first teenager to do so with a goal against Union Berlin in his 64th appearance.

And he is big pals with United star Marcus Rashford who has reportedly been in Solskjaer’s ear about signing Sancho to Old Trafford.
