Frank Lampard has sent a warning to his players not to be unsettled with the signings of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and RB Leipzig respectively.
The Chelsea coach added two major additions to his front line and questions have already been asked about how Werner and Ziyech might fit into his team.
It has even been suggested Tammy Abraham’s place may be under huge threat from Werner, who scored 35 goals for Leipzig this campaign.
Lampard was asked about the prospect of some of his players being umhappy by the decision to sign Werner and Ziyech – who cost a combined £80m in transfer fees.
He said: ‘If players come in, that should be the nature of the beast playing for Chelsea. It shouldn’t be a problem for anyone.’
Ziyech has already started training at the club, while Werner has been given some time off having just finished his campaign in the Bundesliga.
Lampard is planning to move ahead with his squad overhaul and is keen on signing a left-back, as well as another central defender.

Lampard was asked how his transfer plans might affected if his Chelsea fails to make top four and he said: ‘Not really a question just for me and it is a hypothetical one for me to answer before the event, hence why I don’t jump forward into that,’ he replied.
‘We have brought a couple of players into the club already, which shows positivity about where we want to go.
‘We know the club not being able to do business in the last two windows has meant we haven’t been able to bring in, move players out and I think that is as an important thing than bringing players in at times, to keep freshening up the squad and keeping the competitive nature of it.
‘I know where I want to go with the squad, but that has to be a fluid conversation with the club. ‘Of course, economics will come into it, so we will cross that bridge when it comes.’
