FT: Barcelona 3-3 Inter.

AN UNBELIEVABLE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SEMI FINAL COMES TO AN END, NEXT WEEK SECOND LEG!

87. Off the crossbar!

Yamal also steers Barca in front for the first time with an audacious chip, an effort that catches out opponents, fans and commentators alike.

The lift on the run is so delicate that Sommer doesn’t even move as it rises up and over him, and back off the woodwork.

84. Barcelona have only ever won once away at Inter Milan, and that was back in 1959.

If they want to take a lead with them to Italy, then they will need to find another goal in these remaining minutes.

80. Inside the final ten minutes of what has been an extraordinary night in Spain.

Two of Inter’s stars – Marcus Thuram and Denzil Dumfries – will play no further part this evening, and it’s time for Piotr Zielinski and Matteo Darmian to play their role from the bench.

74. Henrikh Mkhitaryan has the ball in the back of the net for a fourth Inter goal…

…but it’s not going to count.

67. What happens next in this tie?!

Whatever does occur, it won’t involve Dani Olmo, who has now been replaced by Fermin Lopez.

65. What a belter from Raphinha!

Seconds after falling behind, Barca hit back through a corner of their own – and this one has a lot more finesse about it.

Dani Olmo pulls back the dead ball towards the edge of the penalty area, Lamine Yamal lets it run through his legs, and Raphinha races on to it to smash.

The shot arrows through the air from 25 yards out, crashes against the crossbar, and ricochets into the net off the back of Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer.

It will go down as an own goal, but owes so much to a stunning strike from the former Leeds man.

57. After a torrid evening trying to keep track of Lamine Yamal, Federico Dimarco is withdrawn in favour of Carlos Augusto.

“In 10-15 years time, he’ll be telling his grandkids about facing Yamal,” suggests maths wizard Rio Ferdinand.

Dimarco is 27-years-old.

55. Pedri really is Xavi for the TikTok generation.

The 22-year-old has played 12 line breaking passes tonight with 11 of them coming in the final third.

That’s at least four more than any other player on the pitch.

53. I’ll be honest, this game with it’s exciting, electric forward play and sensational goals has been a better watch than Arsenal playing for free-kicks and corners last night.

DI MARCO BOTTLES A HUGE CHANCE!

50. Inter nearly nudge ahead again!

On the break, Bisseck’s delivery isn’t actually a good one, but it bounces up off two Barcelona defenders and falls kindly for Dimarco to hit.

The wing-back connects with it cleanly enough, only to send it rising and off in the direction of Basilica de la Sagrada Familia.

48. That’s actually the second defensive switch Hansi Flick has made tonight.

The Barcelona boss made a move at the end of the first 45 minutes to replace Jules Kounde, who had taken a knock, with Eric Garcia.

Kick-off – Barcelona 2-2 Inter
46. More of the same? Yes, please.

Both sides make a change for the start of the second period.

Simone Inzaghi makes the enforced switch with Mehdi Taremi on to replace the injured Lautaro Martinez.

Meanwhile, Ronald Araujo takes over in the Barca defence from Gerard Martin.
