Manchester United supporters are doing all they can to persuade Leicester City defender Harry Maguire to move to Old Trafford.
The England international has been a longstanding target for United before he signed a new long-term contract with the Foxes last September.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been targeting an overhaul of his team this summer window and he has made signing a centre back a major priority.
The Norwegian has fixed his sights on signing English players and Harry Maguire is at the top of his list.
The former Hull City centre-back is keeping supporters updated with his holiday snaps which included him jumping off a yacht with his brother and friends.
And the 26-year-old also appeared to drop a hint about a move to Manchester United on Instagram after he liked a post by a fan who wrote: “You’re going to be a fan favourite in Manchester United.”
He even confirmed the story by replying to SunSport’s story on Saturday, but the defender insisted it was a mistake.
The England ace said: “I didn’t mean to guys… we’ve all been there.”
Maguire – who has been holidaying since helping England to third in the inaugural Nations League – has been flooded with comments from fans clamouring for him to move to join United.
SunSport claimed earlier this week that Manchester City are set to pip United to the signature of Maguire.
Maguire has enjoyed two stellar campaigns at the King Power Stadium as he joined the East Midlands from Hull for £17m in 2017.
