Man Utd fans want player sold ASAP & replaced with superstar signing as ‘contact made’

Manchester United supporters are calling for the club to sell a first team player this summer and replace him with a high-profile signing.

Bruno Fernandes equalized in the 71st minute, but it had already been a challenging afternoon for Ruben Amorim’s squad.

Just three minutes before the goal, Amorim substituted striker Rasmus Hojlund, bringing on 17-year-old Chido Obi in his place.

Hojlund has been a regular starter under the Portuguese coach, but he has now gone 18 matches without scoring a goal for United in any competition.

Fans are advocating for his departure in the summer after just two seasons with the club, suggesting that he be replaced by Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian international is currently on loan at Galatasaray, having been left out of Napoli’s Serie A squad in September, and is expected to leave the club permanently this summer.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, United are considering a move for Osimhen and are even preparing a swap deal to facilitate the transfer.

Reports indicate that United are willing to offer £40 million for the striker, with Hojlund – who previously played in Serie A with Atalanta before joining United – going the other way.

Napoli were also rumored to be interested in signing Alejandro Garnacho in January, but it remains to be seen whether United’s summer financial situation will make his sale a viable option.

Osimhen, 26, has netted 22 goals in all competitions since joining Galatasaray on loan, including a brilliant brace in a 3-2 Europa League group stage victory over Tottenham Hotspur earlier this season.

Although Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis previously valued Osimhen at £150 million, it seems unlikely that they will be able to command such a fee given his current status within the squad.
