Reports from Spain indicate that Manchester United is showing interest in Joselu, the striker currently on loan at Real Madrid from Espanyol.
Joselu, who is 34 years old, has been with Real Madrid since last summer and has managed to net 14 goals in 38 games this season.

Real Madrid has the opportunity to secure Joselu’s services on a permanent basis for a fee of €1.5 million (£1.2m) when the summer arrives, as stipulated in their loan contract with Espanyol. Espanyol is currently vying for a spot back in La Liga.
On the other hand, Manchester United is on the lookout for a new striker once the season concludes, especially since they couldn’t enhance Erik ten Hag’s squad with a forward during the January transfer period.
Relevo reports that the management at United has reached out to inquire about Joselu’s current circumstances and the potential cost of transferring him in the upcoming summer window.
Joselu, who has previously played for Stoke City and Newcastle United, expressed last week that he would prefer to continue his career at Madrid.
‘I hope to stay with Real Madrid on a permanent deal,’ Joselu told ABC.
‘I had a clause that if Espanyol went down, I could go out on loan. And well, Madrid had the opportunity, they thought it was convenient to be able to trigger it. And here I am.
‘Well, there’s a contract, an option to buy, Madrid can buy me in the summer. There are many situations, if Espanyol do not get promoted, if they do go up. A lot of things that can happen.’
