Man Utd agree deal to sign Aboubakar with Ronaldo & Al Nassr to benefit

Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Vincent Aboubakar from Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, according to reports.

The striker shone for Cameroon at the 2022 World Cup as he captained his country and scored two goals in three games.

This comes after former United forward Cristiano Ronaldo completed his mouth-watering move to the Saudi Arabian team.

The 37-year-old was unveiled this week, but is so far unavailable to make his debut for the club due to Al Nassr having a full roster of foreign players.

As a result, Ronaldo had to miss Al Nassr’s 2-0 victory over Al-Ta’ee as he watched on from the directors’ box. Now, United could be about to come to the rescue, though.

According to Saudi outlet OKAZ, Aboubakar’s move to Old Trafford could pave the way for Ronaldo to be registered to play in the Saudi Pro League.

Should Manchester United sign the striker, they’ll be getting a player who, by his own admission, is better than Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.

Discussing the Liverpool attacker before the 2022 World Cup, he told 90football.fr: “I understand people’s attitudes, he’s one of the best goalscorers in the Premier League.

“It makes sense that when you go on about a player like that, people will talk. But I did say that it was my opinion, my point of view.

“I don’t give a toss if people don’t like it – I’m not impressed by him. “I can do what he does. I just don’t have the opportunity to play in a big club.”
