Manchester United legend Gary Neville has named his two best goalkeepers in the Premier League.
According to Neville, Manchester City’s Ederson and Liverpool’s Alisson Becker are currently the two best keepers in England ahead of Chelsea’s Edouard Mendy.
“For me, Mendy, because I think Chelsea, with the goalkeeper they had [Kepa], had massive issues and they would not be where they are at,” Neville told Sky Sports
“To be fair, since he’s come in, their fortunes, defensively, have changed, Tuchel has made them brilliant defensively and he’s a big part of that.
“The impact on Chelsea, getting to a Champions League final, finishing where they are now in the league compared to where they are.
“I don’t think Ederson has been at his absolute best this season. I think Ederson and Alisson are the best two goalkeepers in the league, let’s be clear, but his impact this season.”
On the Chelsea keeper, Neville added: “I wasn’t (sure of Mendy earlier in the campaign), but let’s be clear – I wasn’t sure of Chelsea’s defence either.

“I was looking at the Chelsea defence and thinking there’s not a chance – they could be finishing sixth, seventh or eighth, so for them to do what they’ve done is a big thing and I think he’s been a big part of that.”
