Estêvão has been impressing in South America ahead of his move to England, and Neymar has now applauded the young talent.
Over the weekend, Estêvão achieved 18 goal contributions this season, setting a new record in the Brazilian top-flight for a player under 18.
Neymar previously held the record with 16, which he set with Santos in 2009.
‘Congratulations for the broken record,’ Neymar posted on his Instagram account about Chelsea star Estêvão.
‘May you continue to shine and enchant everyone with your soccer. Fly.’
Estêvão recently revealed that Cole Palmer sent him a message on social media the day after he signed for the Blues, with the Englishman labelling him as a ‘star’.
Speaking to The Guardian, Estêvão said: ‘When I signed for Chelsea, the next day I scored a goal and celebrated like Palmer.
‘His celebration was trendy, very popular. We talked on social media, I tagged him on Instagram.
‘He called me a star, I said he’s a star too. He said we’re going to do a lot of great things together for Chelsea.’
Chelsea have reportedly paid a €34m (£28.5m) fee to land Estêvão and could end up paying another €23m (£19.3m) in performances-based incentives.
Estêvão earned his first caps for the Brazil first-team this year and looks set for a huge career in the sport.
