Real Madrid ‘to quit La Liga’ as three foreign leagues eyed for ‘asylum’

Bellingham’s sending off against Osasuna, allegedly for saying “f*** you” to referee Munuera Montero – a claim the 21-year-old denies – came after Real Madrid were already incensed by a decision in their previous match.

Forbes suggests that potential new homes for Real Madrid could include the German, French, and Italian leagues. However, a move to the Premier League is unlikely, as Los Blancos had previously failed in an attempt to relocate to England.

Switching leagues would be a complex process, requiring approval from La Liga, FIFA, and UEFA.

Gaining UEFA’s approval might be the most challenging aspect, as Real Madrid remains in conflict with the European governing body over their plans to leave and create a separate European Super League.

Additionally, the report claims that Real Madrid believes Tebas has convinced other clubs to join him in an alleged anti-Madrid “crusade.”

Meanwhile, Barcelona could overtake Real Madrid to lead La Liga after a series of disappointing results. Osasuna managed to equalize against Real Madrid’s 10 men following Bellingham’s red card, costing Ancelotti’s side two points.
