Currently in his second season with Saudi Pro League outfit Al Nassr, Ronaldo, who joined them as a free agent last January, has already netted 26 league goals this season, including a hat-trick in a commanding 5-1 victory over Al Taee on Saturday.

Leading the charge for the Saudi Pro League Golden Boot, Ronaldo holds a four-goal advantage over Al Hilal’s Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Mitrovic’s recent muscle injury, described as ‘serious’ by local media, potentially clears the path for Ronaldo to extend his lead further.
According to a tweet by Twitugal, Ronaldo stands poised to become the first player in football history to clinch a Golden Boot in four distinct top divisions, excluding state championships.
Previously, Ronaldo claimed top scorer honors in the Premier League with Manchester United, La Liga with Real Madrid, and Serie A with Juventus.
The Guardian noted in 2016 that Brazilian legend Romario secured Golden Boots in the top divisions of Spain, the Netherlands, and Brazil, along with the Campeonato Carioca – a Brazilian state championship.
While several football icons, including Alfredo Di Stefano, Ruud van Nistelrooy, and Robert Lewandowski, have attained Golden Boots in three different countries, Luis Suarez also achieved this feat, topping goal charts in the Eredivisie with Ajax, La Liga with Barcelona, and the Premier League with Liverpool.
Currently with MLS side Inter Miami, Suarez has already notched five goals in seven league appearances for his new club.
However, as the MLS regular season concludes in October, Ronaldo stands on the cusp of making history as the first player to achieve this remarkable milestone by the season’s end.
