Cristiano Ronaldo makes obscene gesture to fans chanting Messi’s name

Cristiano Ronaldo appeared to make an obscene gesture towards Al-Hilal fans after they chanted Lionel Messi’s name at the former Manchester United forward.

Ronaldo had a game to forget on Tuesday as Al-Nassr suffered a 2-0 defeat to Al-Hilal, which has left the club three points off top spot in the Saudi Pro League, while Al-Ittihad also have an outstanding game.

As he made his way off the pitch, Ronaldo was greeted by jeers and chants of, ‘Messi, Messi’ from the Al-Hilal supporters.

But instead of ignoring the huge chants, the 38-year-old attacker grabbed and shook genitals while walking towards the tunnel.

Ronaldo, who had a goal disallowed during the match, could now face disciplinary action for his gesture towards Al-Hilal’s fans.

During the defeat to Al-Hilal, Ronaldo was also shown a yellow card by Premier League referee Michael Oliver for grabbing Gustavo Cuellar in a headlock.

Former Manchester United forward Odion Ighalo scored two penalties to seal Al-Hilal’s victory over Al-Nassr.

Since signing for Al-Nassr on a free transfer from Manchester United in December, Ronaldo has scored 11 goals in as many league games.

Ronaldo was allowed to join the Saudi Arabian side after United terminated his contract off the back of his interview with Piers Morgan in which he blasted the club and manager Erik ten Hag.
