Cristiano Ronaldo reacted furiously towards his own bench as he left the field at the half-time break of Al-Nassr’s match on Monday.
Ronaldo left Manchester United in December last year after an explosive interview with Piers Morgan in which he criticised the club, Erik ten Hag as well as former players.
After finding little interest from European teams in signing him after November’s Qatar 2022 World Cup, the Portuguese star left for Saudi Arabia and joined Al-Nassr.
The Faris Najd are one of the most successful sides in the history of the nation and were looking to win another trophy as they played against Al-Wehda in the semi-final of the King Cup of Champions.
Bug, things were did not go according to plan as they lost the game 1-0 after Jean-David Beauguel’s 23rd-minute goal.
Ronaldo, who himself had seen an effort he should have scored from saved in the opening stages, was filled with rage as he headed for the changing rooms at half-time.
Footage after the whistle shows the Al-Nassr skipper shaking his head repeatedly as he walked off and upon reaching the dugout he began to remonstrate with his team’s coaching staff before heading down the tunnel.

He was also visibly frustrated at the full-time whistle, making a quick exit from the pitch. Ronaldo has refound his goal-scoring touch since leaving England, with 11 goals in his first 13 matches for Al-Nassr but failed to find the back of the net as Al-Wehda held on to a 1-0 win.
The defeat will come as more blow to Ronaldo, who also stormed off at full-time in his side’s goalless draw with Al Feiha this month.
