Lille star Renato Sanches has confirmed Arsenal are interesting in his services and that he’s ‘ready’ to leave the club.
The midfielder was once considered one of the best youngsters in the world, with the player earning a £40m move to Bayern five years ago after his displays in Portugal’s Euro 2016 campaign.
Sanches struggled in Germany and his career stood still for some time, but he has now rediscovered his best form in France with Lille.

His performances have caught the eye of some of Europe’s biggest teams and Arsenal’s interest is strong, particularly given their lack of options in central midfield.
And, in a boost to Arsenal’s chances, Sanches has confirmed the Gunners’ interest and revealed that he’s ‘ready’ to leave Lille.
‘Maybe Milan and Arsenal are interested but I don’t know,’ said Sanches. ‘I spoke with my agent, I know which clubs are calling me but I can’t say right now.
‘But I know I’m ready. If an offer comes in, I’ll find out what’s best for me.’
Sanches has only 18 months left on his contract with Lille and if the Ligue 1 club do not cash in this month, then the summer appears their last chance to obtain a good fee for the Portuguese star.
The former Swansea City player has indicated that he will not sign an extension at the Ligue 1 club and they’re reluctantly willing to accept a deal this month.
