As the 2024 summer transfer window comes to a close, Manchester United’s management seems determined to find a new club for Jadon Sancho.
The winger doesn’t seem to be in Erik ten Hag’s plans, and with a weekly wage of £250,000, keeping him as a backup option makes little financial sense.
Fortunately, several clubs have shown interest in the 24-year-old, providing Manchester United with opportunities to offload him. Recently, Chelsea, Juventus, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund have all been linked with a potential move.
However, it appears that Sancho has a preferred destination in mind, which has been disclosed in a new report by The Guardian.

However, Sancho reportedly prefers to stay in England rather than rejoin Dortmund or sign with Bayern.
His top choice is Chelsea.Although Chelsea already have a large squad, they remain interested in further additions this summer.
They could pursue Sancho as part of a swap deal, which might involve Raheem Sterling moving to Manchester United.
Sterling, a lifelong Manchester United fan, is one of 13 players relegated to Chelsea’s ‘bomb squad,’ training separately from the main group as the club attempts to encourage their departure.
A swap deal could be mutually beneficial for both clubs and players.
Despite Sancho’s desire to join Chelsea, his dream move may not materialize this summer. According to reports, Juventus are currently leading the race for his signature.
It’s believed that Manchester United has already agreed to a loan deal with the Serie A club, which would include an obligation to buy at the end of the season.
Juventus is expected to have funds available, as Federico Chiesa is reportedly close to joining Liverpool for a fee of £10.9 million.
Amidst all the speculation, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has refused to rule out a move for Sancho, saying: “If we have to sign a player just for signing, I don’t want it.
“But if we can sign a player who can help us, for sure I want it. I know Jadon very well from many years with [Manchester] City. I know him very well. But he is not our player. We will see what happens.”
