Jadon Sancho, Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford have all reacted to Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to Manchester United.

The Red devils have already reached an agreement to re-sign the five-time Ballon d’Or winner from Juventus.

On Friday, Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri confirmed Ronaldo would be leaving the club and it appeared as though the 36-year-old would join Manchester City.

But Ronaldo pulled out of discussions with City and quickly reached an agreement to join his former team Manchester United.

The Portugal international scored 118 goals in 292 matches in his first spell at Old Trafford before leaving for Real Madrid in 2009.

Reacting to Ronaldo’s return, Manchester United playmaker Fernandes said: ‘Agent Bruno? Welcome back home, Cristiano!’

England striker Rashford added: ‘Wow wow wow, he’s home.’ United summer signing Sancho, who joined the club this summer from Dortmund also said: ‘Scary hours!’

Ronaldo then six years at United earlier in his career, establishing himself as one of the best players in football and a legend at the club.

In a statement confirming Ronaldo’s return, the club said: ‘Manchester United is delighted to confirm that the club has reached agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to agreement of personal terms, visa and medical.

‘Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, has so far won over 30 major trophies during his career, including five Uefa Champions League titles, four Fifa Club World Cups, seven league titles in England, Spain and Italy, and the European Championship for his native Portugal.

‘In his first spell for Manchester United, he scored 118 goals in 292 games. Everyone at the club looks forward to welcoming Cristiano back to Manchester.’
